Undeniably artistic and hip, the neighborhood of Clintonville, OH is an unofficial suburb of Columbus whose vibrant assortment of architecture and parks full of sweeping glacial ravines makes it a standout among more traditional residential areas. Clintonville is generally defined by the boundaries of I-71 to the east, State Route 315 to the west, Riverview and Old North Columbus to the south, and Northbrook to the north. Within its borders is the community of Old Beechwold, whose antiquated beauty can make it feel like a world away.
The area has a long history, which began with the presence of the Wyandot natives and included a brief period functioning as a stop on the Underground Railroad. Now home to around 30,000 residents, what was once a land of steep hillsides transitioned to a popular summer home destination for professors and alumni of the nearby The Ohio State University, and finally, to the thriving, diverse neighborhood it is today.

Community-driven festivals and events abound in Clintonville, particularly in the verdant warmth of summer and the cooling breezes of fall.
Clintonville Farmers' Market is one of the area’s biggest and most inclusive purveyors of local farmers and crafters, and while summer is its prime-time, the market has been expanded to run for three of the four seasons in the year. Third Thursdays is another summer tradition and come bursting with incredible food trucks, live music and entertainment, and craft brews from local breweries.
Those who prefer to wait until the chillier temps of fall arrive will still have plenty of activity to keep them occupied, and each year the season kicks off with an enthusiastic Oktoberfest and a Pumpkin Patch Drive-thru.
